Star Trek didn't beat the opening weekend of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. So far, that means I'm right. And Wolverine took a huge drop at the box office. That means I am right again ... so now we'll see if I am pure

It's my first on air interviews. I've done a ton of sit down, 20-minute interviews with Will Smith, the cast of Superbad and more. But the TV interview is a different beast. So if you notice the deer-in-headlights look, or the insane amount of times I say, "um," I truly apologize. But that's not what you've come here to see, is it?

I sat down with Eric Bana, Bruce Greenwood, John Cho and Anton Yelchin to talk Star Trek. Here's some extra items not in the TV interview ... Bana is 6'3", I'm 6'5" ... I didn't make him prove it. Though he's the runt of the litter, with a brother who's 6'8". Greenwood loves Portland, mainly because he lived here when he did a show called "Nowhere Man." Cho says he

It's time for another installment of "He said - She said" with J.J. Abrams' highly anticipated Star Trek, starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho and more. As always, we recommend seeing the film before reading, because we're talking ALL aspects of the film, including plot spoilers. Editor's note: For the complete Scorecard Review of Star Trek, click here. Jeff Bayer gives the film a 9/10. He also had long, long conversations with Nick trying to explain to him that Star Trek is better than X-Men Origins: Wolverine. One key point he didn't bring up until now is, both films use the word "engage." The one with the claws didn't do it justice.

It's he (Nick Allen) and she (Morrow McLaughlin).

Four Brothers and Boyz n the Hood director John Singleton is set to return to the silver screen with Vin Diesel behind the wheel. Variety is reporting that the two are signed up to make "Wheelman," a film adaptation of a video game released this past March. Lorezno di Bonaventura is going to produce the live-action feature with Diesel and Samantha Vincent.

Diesel will be playing Milo Burik, an "expert driver" who leaves retirement to protect "a woman from his past." The Fast and Furious actor also helped produce the video game, whose main character was even modeled after his image.

A script for the project was originally written by Rich Wilkes (who wrote the original xXx). A re-write was done by Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell, the writing duo who scripted The

Star Trek Directed by: J.J. Abrams Cast: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Eric Bana, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Bruce Greenwood, Leonard Nimoy Running Time: 2 hrs. 5 mins. Rating: PG-13 Release Date: May 8, 2009

Plot: This is the voyage of the starship USS Enterprise, with a twist. A hell-bent Romulan (Bana) shifts time and is out to destroy Spock (Quinto, Nimoy). A black hole twists the past, but Kirk (Pine) and the rest of the starfleet soldiers are brought together on the Enterprise to defend Vulcan and Earth from a massive, destructive ship.

Who’s It For? Sci-Fi fans who never gave Star Trek a chance, fans of the classic series willing to see new actors in the iconic roles, and those who just love blockbusters ... yeah, put those three groups

Next Day Air Directed by: Benny Boom Cast: Donald Faison, Mike Epps, Cisco Reyes, Mos Def Time: 1 hr, 30 minutes Rating: R

Plot: An unthinkably outlandish tale about a young postal worker whose life is turned upside down when one procedural mistake lands him in the middle of an underground war between would-be drug dealers, oddly-named thugs, and Mexican drug lords so intimidating it nearly trumps their very existence. A comical take on how being down on your luck doesn’t nearly measure up to having a very large price on your perpetually “altered” head.

Who’s It For?: TV fans will be lured into this because of Faison’s (Turk on "Scrubs") inclusion. Since he broke onto the big screen in Clueless his movie career has left much to be desired. Now a TV star, his return

A Wink and a Smile Directed by: Deirdre Allen Timmons Cast: Miss Indigo Blue Running Time: 1 hr 30 mins Rating: Unrated Release date: May 8, 2009

Plot: A documentary following Miss Indigo Blue's Academy of Burlesque's students. The film intersperses the student's stories with performances by professional burlesque dancers in Seattle and commentary by Blue.

Who’s It For? If you're into burlesque you'll probably appreciate learning more. If not, it's definitely interesting anyway. Iif you like boobs, you'll love it.

Expectations: I didn't get burlesque, it just seemed like stripping with fancy costumes. So I wasn't really excited about this film.

SCORECARD (0-10)

Actors:

Miss Indigo Blue as herself: Blue is a performer, which can be good or bad in a documentary. I'm going with bad for this one. She's clearly a good

The winner of this year's MTV Movie Awards ... us. That's right, we're the big winners. Mainly because of these fake scenes from movies that will never see the light of day. My favorite? I'm glad you asked. I would have to say the first one here, "Slaughter Shack." Mainly because I have decided it's making fun of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. 2009 Movie Awards: Andy Samberg With Bill Hader and Will Arnett "Slaughter Shack"

Andy wants you to consider his brawl with Bill Hader and Will Arnett as a "Best Fight" contender in this faux submission.

2009 Movie Awards: Andy Samberg And Cuba Gooding Jr. "Pommel: The Bobby Brooks Story"

McG is following along with most summer movies ... keeping a tight lip on any major plot details. But we've uncovered a couple of nuggets. It looks like Terminator: Salvation director, McG is taking more cues from Dr. Emmett Brown than James Cameron.

Though there are no set-in-stone scripts being volleyed around the Internet just yet, Film Journal says that the same man who brought us a unique update of Charlie’s Angels will bring the Terminator story “back to the past” in the inevitable follow-up.

It’s also reported that the looming sequel will touch on more politically charged subject matter such as stem-cell research and other scientific taboos.

The only thing missing will be a 1985 DeLorean, and a gas-tank’s worth of plutonium.

Today, Moviehole was able to uncover solid information about that Karate Kid remake starring Jaden Smith (produced by his daddy, Will Smith). First of all, it seems that the film is not going to be called "The Kung Fu Kid," as rumors from a month ago had started to perceive. The title for the project is currently still The Karate Kid. I guess "Killer of Childhood Dreams" isn't snappy enough. Bitter remarks aside, it is worth discussing the new plot as it seems to update its original source with as many modern elements as possible. However, for those who want to be "surprised" by the film when it is released in a year, I will warn you that there are going to be SPOILERS of some sort here.

Daniel, the character originally

Zed (Jack Black) and Oh (Michael Cera) ... those names are going to get a lot more popular this summer. Zed is the hunter. Oh, a gatherer. And together they were destined for greatness. Problem is, they're lazy. So they get kicked out of their tribe and have to go off on their own. Will they die? Probably not, after all they're the stars. And for all you undereducated kids out there ... This isn't based on a true story, even though everything in Hollywood seems like it. So don't go scanning the encyclopedias at school for the neanderthal heroes Zed and Oh ... do they still have encyclopedias at school.

Quickcard Review Everlasting Moments

Directed by: Jan Troell Cast: Maria Heiskanen, Mikael Persbrandt, Jesper Christensen Running Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Rating: Unrated Release Date: May 1, 2009

Plot: A housewife in early 20th century Sweden endures a difficult marriage. She only finds peace through photography and her friendship with a local photographer.

Who’s It For? Fans of family melodramas, period dramas and foreign films. If you like all three, you're all set.

Expectations: Didn't know anything about this before I saw it.

OVERALL

Maria Larsson (Heiskanen) is married to Sigfrid, a coarse, former soldier prone to drink. When he goes on a bender, he gets violent. She refuses to leave him, despite her misery, instead turing to photography for solace. The title refers to her photos though they're more a subplot than anything else. That's pretty much it. The film

This is why people like John Hughes are held with astronomical regard over John Tucker. Kids, high school isn't like this. You don't tell the most popular girl in your grade (especially if she's Hayden Panettiere) that you love her during your graduation speech. And she certainly does not respond in the way Panettiere's character Beth Cooper does in the trailer for the new film, I Love You, Beth Cooper, due out July 10th.

I'm all down for a little bit of fantasy and imagination, even if it means constructing bright white lies about the social experiences only Hollywood can dream of. However, something bothers me about movies that look like they take place in high school, but are actually set in unrealistic super dimensions where a screenwriter's unusual gimmick can steer

God bless the MTV Movie Awards. They have the same self-indulgence but lack the arrogance of the People's Choice Awards, and they always offer the best excuse for movies that came out last summer to get re-hyped as if they still haven't come out yet. Plus, it's probably the only award show where a film selected by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as "Best Picture" has the chance of losing to a movie called High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

Nominees for this year's awards (which can be seen live on May 31st) were announced a few days ago, with Slumdog Millionaire and Twilight getting six nominations each. Totally more awesome than the Golden Globes, this award show aims at the real important elements of a good film. Some

DVD Review The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button (Two-Disc Special Edition)

Directed by: David Fincher Cast: Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Taraji P. Henson, Julia Ormond Running Time: 2 hrs 45 mins Rating: PG-13 Release Date: May 5, 2009

Plot: The story of a man (Pitt) who ages backwards.

Who's It For? Any person who has felt the joy of love and the (very-human) loss of it could experience this film and identify with the not-so-odd life of Benjamin Button. Those who are deterred by the film's length are only cheating themselves out of making a special new friend.

Movie: Benjamin Button's story reminds us that the most basic human beings are extraordinary. But as a film, its existence rightfully disagrees with this truth. This is a movie that is more

During some of his interviews promoting X-Men Origins: Wolverine, actor Ryan Reynolds slyly mentioned that he wanted to do a spinoff of his own, but with his character Deadpool. Now his wish has come true, as Variety is reporting that Twentieth Century Fox has started development on "Deadpool," with the project being catered to Reynolds.

In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Reynolds played Wade Wilson, a cocky assassin who volunteers himself to a genetic experiment which makes him into the seemingly invincible, all-powerful Deadpool. Apparently in one of the few endings for Wolverine, his character whispered "shh" to the audience after rising from the wreckage. (Which, according to the version I saw, doesn't sound entirely plausible...).

This news comes not long after a Wolverine sequel was announced, read about that HERE, and also

You may remember talk of a film called Used Guys back in 2006 which was supposed to star Ben Stiller and Jim Carrey. The film never happened. The studio pulled the plug a month before shooting due to timing and budget issues. As it turns out, Used Guys was down but not out. Variety reports Stiller and Fox Studios are now trying to revive the futuristic comedy as more of a romantic comedy. Stiller is in talks to star and Reese Witherspoon has been approached to play the female lead. The team of Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton of Little Miss Sunshine are in talks to direct the picture.

Sorry Jim Carrey fans, so far there has been no indication that he's involved in the revival.

Grammy Award winner Christina Aguilera will try to add acting to her list of talents in the upcoming film Burlesque under the direction of Steven Antin. Variety reports, Aguilera will play a small town girl who heads to L.A. to perform in a neo-burlesque club where she finds love, family and success. The contemporary musical script was written by Steven Antin and revisions were made by writer Susannah Grant, best known for Erin Brockovich. Filming is scheduled to start later this year.

A Screen Gems executive commented that this project was created with Aguilera in mind. That hardly seems surprising given the musical nature of the film. I can't help but picture the "Lady Marmalade" music video, which may have been on the producers mind as well.

Hugh Jackman just helped X-Men Origins: Wolverine make $85 million opening weekend, and now comes word that Fox and Seed Productions are working on a sequel. Yes, part two of X-Men Origins: Wolverine could be at a theater near you, reports Variety.com. The Seed partners have begun planning the sequel, which they are squarely focusing on the samurai storyline originated in the comic series, and whose Japanese locale was teased after the film's final credits. A writer has yet to be hired. Seed will produce.

Is this what X-Men fans want? More Wolverine? I would easily have said yes, before seeing the movie, but now after ... I'm ready to move on.

Jackman's not done though. The website reports Fox just acquired Personal Security, written by Matt Lieberman. 'Jackman will star as a

Let's get one thing straight ... Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan was the funniest film in 2006. But from the looks of Brüno ... especially the red band restricted trailer ... nothing looks straight.

Created from Sacha Baron Cohen's "Da Ali G Show," this gay Austrian supermodel is ready for the runway? Nope, thankfully that's not all. Bruno also makes his way to Sears so the uncomfortable social humor can begin. Now, does this look as funny as Borat? No. But I can hope.

And It's getting an R-rating, instead of NC-17. EW.com reports the R is for "pervasive strong and crude sexual content, graphic nudity and language." Brüno will be released on July 10
