Sweet home, Chicago. Since moving to Portland I've only be been to Chicago once. Well, seeing Johnny Depp in Public Enemies better give me flashbacks. Michael Mann is behind the film with Christian Bale and Marion Cotillard added to the cast. It's all about John Dillinger, the bank robber that was so prolific that he made J. Edgar Hoover's number one target.

Oh and the cast isn't done ... Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham) and Alvin Karpis (Giovanni Ribisi) are part of Dillinger's gang, and Billy Crudup plays J. Edgar Hoover.

This is one trailer I haven't seen, and actually I'm not going to start now. The reason trailers exist is to get butts in the seats. My butt will already be in this seat. So the only thing I

Moon is a new sci-fi film starring Sam Rockwell. It will have a limited release, but it will certainly be one of the most unique genre films of the summer. Though devoid of Shia LeBouf, McG, or killer robots, it's going to bring a whole different type of futuristic awesome to cinema. In the film, a space engineer (Rockwell), is stationed at a base on the moon for an extensive amount of time. Living in complete isolation, his only communication is with his super-computer GERTY (voiced by Kevin Spacey). With only weeks left in his contract, Sam begins to see some "strange things." You'll have to watch the trailer to find out exactly what (which is a bit of a spoiler, I must say).

I was lucky enough to catch a screening

So, it appears Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) is heading to college. After everything that happened to the world after the Autobot/Deception war, I'm glad to see everyone there's been a return to normalcy. Actually, no I'm not. But at least they managed to squeeze in the Pointer Sister's "I'm So Excited!" Wait, I'm not really happy about that either. So what does have me excited about the sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (due out June 24, 2009)? Oh, hello Megan Fox ... it's good to see you again. And it does look like they are allowing us to see more of the battles. The first Transformers seemed to opt for SCS (Shakey Camera Syndrome) a little too much

Do you expect better things with this sequel, or are you just happy with more of the same? Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian opens May 22, 2009.

Yes, Ben Stiller is back, and so is Robin Williams. Do either of these guys make you laugh lately? And if the answer is yes, I want reasons. What movie in the last 2-3 years had you rolling in the aisles?

Along with those men are Owen Wilson, Ricky Gervais, Steve Coogan, Jonah Hill, and Hank Azaria. Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart is my hope here. She can rarely do wrong.

Here's the thing, two monkeys slapping Stiller just doesn't make me laugh (even though he may deserve it). And I am still cringing from the little Einsteins saying, "That's the way

Yo Joe indeed. If knowing is half the battle, then we're on our way. Destro, Zartan, The Baroness against Hawk, Duke and Snake Eyes is just a few months away.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra opens August 7, 2009.

I hope. I hope my childhood toys are there to greet me with a smile. I find I'm so exicted I can barely sit still.

I couldn't afford Transformers as a kid, but if I recall one G.I. Joe figure was $2.62 (tax). And with my $5 a week allowance, I was always on the verge of picking up two a week.

For the trailer itself, it looks pretty slick. I really don't know what to expect. While I want to think back on the cartoons fondly, I am also realizing that we can't just

Editors Note: Nick Allen interviewed Rachel Weisz back in November 2008, because The Brother's Bloom was originally set to release in December 2008. Rachel Weisz is not a weird person. In the flesh, sitting only a high-five away from me in a room at Chicago's James Hotel, undeniable beauty seems to be the only eccentricity she shares with Penelope, her character in the new film The Brothers Bloom. She doesn't seem to exemplify the defining quirky characteristics of her shut-in, socially awkward character from the film, written and directed by Rian Johnson. If anything, sitting down with two other writers and the Oscar-winning actress, it was difficult for me not to embody Penelope-like awkwardness myself.

Regardless, the actress from the first two Mummy movies and husband Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain was happy

Well, did you like Wolverine? If so, I want to hear from you. I thought the fighting wasn't bad ... and the compliments end there. Jackman didn't even have the right swagger. X-Men: The Last Stand made $103 million opening weekend, and Iron Man made $99

X-Men Origins: Wolverine Directed by: Gavin Hood Cast: Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Lynn Collins, Will i Am, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch Time: 2 hrs, 2 minutes Rating: PG-13 Release Date: May 1, 2009

Plot: After the death of his girlfriend, Wolverine (Jackman) is hell bent on revenge, which brings him face to face with his life long friend, Sabertooth (Schreiber). But before they battle, he's brought into the mutant Weapon X program.

Who’s It For?: X-Men is huge, so this will draw a crowd. But here's the thing, if you're fine with Spider-Man 3, or X-Men United ... then you'll see anything with super powers and be happy. But don't go expecting more with this film.

Expectations: 20th Century Fox acted like the world came to an end when a leaked, almost finished copy of Wolverine

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past Directed by: Mark Waters Cast: Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, Michael Douglas Running Time: 1 hr 40 mins Rating: PG-13 Release Date: May 1, 2009

Plot: A successful photographer (McConaughey) who scrooges women for a hobby is visited by three ... Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.

Who’s It For? The dating crowd - particularly those who share the on-screen ages of Garner and McConaughey. Of course, this really just means anyone not seeing X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Expectations: The Matthew McConaughey + romantic comedy formula was recently cracked by a popular humor blog that offered some frighteningly plausible ideas. Considering McConaughey's track record, it was expected for him to play some slimy and smiley womanizer who gets "put in his place" by a female (Garner) aware of his smooth-talking ... but not idiotic enough to

Lymelife Directed by: Derick Martini Cast: Alec Baldwin, Rory Culkin, Jill Hennessy, Emma Roberts Time: 1 hr, 49 minutes Rating: PG-13 Release Date: May 1, 2009 (limited)

Plot: In late-1970’s Long Island, 15-year-old Scott Bartlett (Culkin) finds that he’s growing up amidst a much fishier situation than his well-to-do father (Baldwin) would insist. In hopes to shield her son from a recent outbreak of Lyme disease, Scott’s mother doesn’t allow Scott to leave the house without applying the necessary amount of masking tape to his clothing. This is a hilarious sight, but our first encounter with next-door-neighbor Charlie [Timothy Hutton] that we find out the disease’s wrath (amongst a slew of other situations in this film) may have more crippling effects than it seems.

Who’s It For?: Fans of films that systematically bash the American dream to

Sugar Directed by: Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck Cast: Algenis Perez Soto, Andre Holland, Ellary Porterfield, Rayniel Rufino Running Time: 2 hrs Rating: R Release Date: May 1, 2009 (limited)

Plot: This is the story of a young Dominican whose lifelong dream to play in the Major Leagues lands him on a seemingly smooth path to realizing his destiny. There proves to be more than perfecting the knuckle-curve in landing a spot on a Big League roster as an array of pitfalls routinely bludgeons his attempts to achieve the greatness he so aspires to realize. A coming-of-age story that dabbles in the temptations young people come across upon their difficult paths to greatness.

Who’s It For?: Baseball fans young and old. This is a slick reminder that the third world not only wields a superior slew of

Battle for Terra Directed by: Aristomenis Tsirbas Cast: (voices) Evan Rachel Wood, Luke Wilson, Brian Cox, David Cross Running Time: 1 hr 25 mins Rating: PG Release Date: May 1, 2009

Plot: Following the destruction of Earth and other human-colonized planets, the remaining humans search space for a new place to settle. When the humans attack Terra, a peaceful alien planet, a young Terrian (Wood) and a human pilot (Wilson) try to end the war.

Who’s It For? If you appreciate a good score and enjoy contemplating the future of the human race, check this one out. Surprisingly this film isn't for the the little ones, there's just too much violence for a standard kid flick.

Expectations: Since this is a full-length version of the 2003 award-wining, seven-minute short film by the same director, I'm expecting good things

The boys are back in the City ... Sex in the City ... with three key actors recently signed up for the sequel. First, Chris Noth was reported by Variety to have signed up to return as Carrie Bradshaw's Mr. Big. Now, E! Online reports that the on screen husbands of Charlotte and Miranda have also signed on (Evan Handler and David Eisenberg, respectively).

This marks the basic completion of the series' leading cast, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis all set to return. Writer/director Michael Patrick King will also return for the film which is going to start shooting this summer.

The sequel to Sex and the City is set to be released May 28, 2010.

Here's a sequel idea that does actually make a bit of sense. According to Entertainment Weekly and Variety, a heavily rumored sequel to Oliver Stone's Wall Street is now in the works. The director of the 1987 film, Oliver Stone, is going to helm the project, which will also star Michael Douglas once again portraying the role of Gordon Gekko. Douglas earned an Oscar for Best Actor for his portrayal of the manipulative economic monolith.

Shia LeBouf is also in talks to play a role similar to that of Charlie Sheen's in the original.

The plot for "Wall Street 2" is set to take place nearly two decades after Gekko is released from jail. The screenplay, written by 21 scribe Allan Loeb, will be certain to reflect on current economic foul play and

An anonymous tip to ShockTillYouDrop.com recently indicated that Bill Murray will make a cameo appearance in the upcoming horror/comedy film Zombieland. Rumor has it Murray will have a small roll as a zombie in the Ruben Fleischer directed film, which also stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin and Amber Heard. The studio has yet to comment.

It appears we may have to wait until October 9th to see if the former Ghostbuster becomes more ghost-like as a member of the undead.

20th Century Fox has decided to postpone the Wednesday premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine due to concerns over the recent swine flu outbreak, according to a recent People report. A rep for the studio said, "We were not only concerned for Hugh's welfare -- and we would never send anyone into harm's way -- but we also have an enormous office filled with people we care about." Hugh Jackman was the only cast member scheduled to make an appearance.

The studio's decision is in line with current preventative measures being taken in Mexico. Following recent government actions to close schools, two of the nation's top theater chains have voluntarily shut down several cinemas in affected areas to help prevent spread of the virus.

The movie studio executives play God around this time every year. Don't listen to mother nature ... summer starts May 1. The blockbusters are upon us, and it looks like May might just be THE big month of movies this year. Sure, we have to wait for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, but we've already been waiting for that last one for a while now. And it looks like each week we will have a new box office winner ... my hunch is Wolverine will have the biggest opening weekend, but when it's all said and done, Star Trek will be box office king. Let's get to the films.

Beyoncé Knowles wins (Obsessed). An angry black woman, kicking the arse of a slutty white woman ... who would have thought that would work? More importantly, it makes Idris Elba ("The Office," "The Wire") more marketable. We need more Elba in our lives.

The Soloist proves it might be too early for

Fighting Directed by: Dito Montiel Cast: Channing Tatum, Terrence Howard, Zulay Henao Running Time: (approx time, such as 1 hr 35 mins, 2 hrs 15 mins) Rating: PG-13 Release Date: April 24, 2009

Plot: A young man (Tatum), with the guidance of a street-scheme organizer (Howard), makes his way into the underground sport of all-out fighting.

Who’s It For? With its story about Fighting against the odds, this movie speaks mostly for teens - whether they are curious to see Tatum without his shirt off (again), or their interest is in watching him take part in human cock fights.

Expectations: Co-writer/director Dito Montiel made it onto the "indie" film scene with his personal debut A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints. This film, mostly from the trailer, looked like a departure away from Saints' gritty realism of NYC towards

The Soloist Directed by: Joe Wright Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Jamie Foxx, Catherine Keener Running Time: 1 hr. 50 mins. Rating: PG-13

Plot: It's an unlikely duo as a Los Angeles Times columnist (Downey Jr.) goes looking for a story and connects deeply to his subject, a Julliard trained musician (Foxx), who is homeless.

Who’s It For? The younger crowd who is now addicted to Downey thanks to Iron Man, might not be ready for this one. It's a slower pace, with side notes about the homeless problem in L.A. and the death of newspapers.

Expectations: I had one concern ... this movie was supposed to come out last year in December. It was Oscar bait. So what happened? Otherwise, on paper, this movie should work well.

SCORECARD (0-10)

Actors: Robert Downey Jr. as Steve Lopez: What a relief. Downey
