You may remember talk of a film called Used Guys back in 2006 which was supposed to star Ben Stiller and Jim Carrey. The film never happened. The studio pulled the plug a month before shooting due to timing and budget issues. As it turns out, Used Guys was down but not out. Variety reports Stiller and Fox Studios are now trying to revive the futuristic comedy as more of a romantic comedy. Stiller is in talks to star and Reese Witherspoon has been approached to play the female lead. The team of Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton of Little Miss Sunshine are in talks to direct the picture.
Sorry Jim Carrey fans, so far there has been no indication that he's involved in the revival.
