Ben Stiller and the Focker family took over the box office this weekend with a respectable $34 million. Not too shabby considering that this sequel was an obvious attempt at milking the awkwardness of holidays with the in-laws.

True Grit proved itself to be a winner on both counts. Although it only landed in second place, it's done quite well for itself and the critics seem to agree. That's high praise in an otherwise lackluster holiday box office. Even if it doesn't rake in the money, expect to keep hearing about this one come awards season.

Falling from its number one spot, TRON: Legacy has still done a solid job of bringing in the bank this weekend. There were a lot of contenders this past week so a minor slip to number three is nothing to be ashamed of.

Finally, families weren't feeling the love for Voyage of the Dawn Treader or Yogi Bear. Could it be a coincidence that two of the three 3D features on our top five are rounding out the list at the bottom? Well, probably, but I can still hope that this only means audiences are tired of paying full price for half-baked movies.
