Well, it seems like I'm not starting off the new year too well with my miscalculations on this weekend's box office challenge.

Call me crazy, but I thought I'd give the American viewing public a little credit and at least hope that they'd learn their lesson, but no such luck as Little Fockers leads the box office again.

True Grit had a solid lead on Friday but something happened over the weekend. Who knows what it was but something had to happen to rob True Grit of its rightful place as leader of the pack.

Evidently most of this weekend was dedicated to the mantra "change is bad." TRON: Legacy rang in the New Year in the exact same place on our top five as it did last weekend, in a solid third place.

Finally, for some unknown reason people felt compelled to move Yogi Bear up on the list, giving the shaft to Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It's not much of a change, since the two simply swapped places, but a change nonetheless. The two family friendly flicks round out our top five with Yogi at number four and Voyage of the Dawn treader in fifth place.
