'Paul' starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost - trailer review

Paul Directed by:  Greg Mottola Starring: Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Kristen Wigg, voice of Seth Rogen Rating: R Release Date: Month March 18, 2011

TRAILER SCORE: 9/10

MY THOUGHTS: This looks awesome.  Pegg and Frost star as two comic book nerds touring the US in an RV to visit famous alien landing sites.  While doing so, they meet an actual alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) who's basically them in alien form.  The premise is just OK, it's really the talent involved in this film that makes me excited.  Pegg and Frost wrote the script, Mottola (director of Superbad and the underrated Adventureland) directs and the actors are great.  Besides those I mentioned above, there's also Jason Bateman, Jane Lynch and Sigourney Weaver!  I know, I've gotten overly excited before.  I'm trying to keep myself in check but it looks pretty funny.  The trailer pokes fun at alien classics like ET and Star Wars.  Even without Edgar Winter directing, I think this will be a winner.
