MY THOUGHTS: My main problem with this trailer is that it wears all its twists on its sleeve and it feels predictable. If Shutter Island manages to wriggle free from everyone's best guess, it'll certainly kick a bunch of ass. The combination of Scorsese and a psychological thriller is a new level of perfection (next stop, horror!) and although I'm a tad sick of DiCaprio and his wild-eyed haplessness, Mark Ruffalo is there to keep it grounded. If Shutter Island can truly surprise us, it'll be a force to be reckoned with.
