Thoughts by TSR: There's a lot to take in with this article. Sure, there's your basic industry jargon, but allow me to highlight some of the areas of interest. Beetlejuice 2... brought to you by the guys who wrote Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
I was initially pretty skeptical of this talk of a sequel/expansion of the Beetlejuice netherworld, but when you look at the guys that Warner Bros. is assigning the task? Well, it's hard not to be a little giddy. Besides, if anybody remembers the awesome Beetlejuice cartoon from the early 90s, you know that there's still a lotta fun to be had with the undead.
Part of me hopes they bring some of the same sensibility of the cartoon series, but if anybody could build on Burton's classic, I'm putting my faith in these guys. I'm holding all judgments until we get some actual casting news, but this one has some real potential.
