Thoughts by TSR: This trailer gets me so excited. I love Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph and they look hilarious in this. Few movies dare to look at how weird relationships between women can be. We have a million buddy guy movies, but you'd probably be hard pressed to list more than five about women. Fewer than that if you're only including good ones. So I really hope this is even half as awesome as it looks. Wiig's the Maid of Honor for her friend, but the fact that her bestie is getting hitched while Wiig's life is such a mess leads to ambivalent feelings and hopefully, hilarity. Melissa McCarthy has some good lines as a rough around the edges bridesmaid and Rose Byrne looks perfect as a together, uptight member of the bridal party. Expect me to be at the theater in two weeks.
