It seemed like only a matter of time before mad hatter director Tim Burton would take us all to Wonderland. And from the looks of this teaser, it sounds like this is going to be one hell of a trip down the rabbit hole.
For a teaser trailer, this is pretty generous. A great amount of famous areas and characters make an appearance, even if it's just for a few seconds. Everyone more excited to see Depp play the Mad Hatter than Mia Wasikowska as the title character will be pleased to see him get his own 20-seconds at the end of the teaser, proving that his costuming is actually kind of terrifying (and at the same time, very Burton).
The "important date" is March 5th, 2010. But for now we'll have to stay enchanted by the pause button and really soak up the visual beauty that Alice in Wonderland is destined to be.
Alice in Wonderland stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover, and Anne Hathaway. It will be presented in IMAX and Disney Digital 3-D.
