Hi.

This is Jeff Bayer, and I don't update this site very often. If you'd like to listen to my current movie podcast you can find it at MovieBS.com.

Box Office Challenge: 'Hall Pass' 'Drive Angry' and 'Unknown'

Box Office Challenge

Hitting the screens this weekend ...

Drive Angry (in 3-D) Hall Pass

TSR's complete Film Review Database

This weekend, doesn't have much to offer, but that doesn't stop Nic Cage or Owen Wilson from trying to stage a comeback.

Unfortunately, Owen Wilson has much better supporting players on his side and more theaters so my best guess is that Hall Pass will be taking number one this weekend.

Still, Nic Cage has got that 3-D money he so desperately needs, so I'm predicting Drive Angry to park in second place.

Unknown will probably take a hit this weekend with the several new releases, but Liam Neeson in Taken 2 (it seems fair to call it that) will still probably end up doing pretty well for itself, even in third.

I Am Number Four and Gnomeo and Juliet will probably end up rounding out our list, considering their almost neck and neck finish this past weekend. Still, I wouldn't expect great things from either of them this weekend.

Each week we’ll take a look at the box office and see if we can’t nail the Top 5 films (in correct order). Also guess how many millions the #1 movie will make.

It’s harder than you think. If you don’t believe, let’s see what your answers are.

My prediction for the weekend of Feb. 25 -27 …

1. Hall Pass ($20 million)

2. Drive Angry (in 3-D)

3. Unknown

4. I Am Number Four

5. Gnomeo and Juliet

So what are your Top 5 at the box office this weekend?
