Thoughts by TSR: Von Trier has made a lot of crazy comments that you could kindly call politically incorrect. He really pissed people off when he said he "sympathize[d]" with Hitler while at a Q&A for his next film, Melancholia. Now French officials are talking about charging him under a law against justifying war crimes. I doubt he was sincere, he said that he was joking. Really, if you invited Von Trier to speak you should expect something like that. He's someone who gets off on provoking reactions. Have you seen his movies? We'll see how this all plays out.
