TSRn: Spielberg told Michael Bay to fire Megan Fox

The Scorecard Review news

News: Michael Bay tells GQ Magazine that it was actually producer Steven Spielberg's suggestion to fire Megan Fox from the Transformers franchise. Fox had compared Bay to Hitler in an interview and insulted him on Jimmy Kimmel.

Thoughts by TSR: When I first heard that Megan Fox got on the wrong nerves in Hollywood and was let go from Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, I thought, it's going to take her a good year and a half to undo that damage. And she has to be a perfect angel henceforth and make some serious amends, if she wants to resuscitate her unresponsive career.

Now that I know it was Steven Spielberg that recommended Fox get the axe, it's a safe bet she's through. Pissing off Michael Bay is bad enough, and you can survive it (barely), if you start putting out the fires immediately. Irritating both Bay and Spielberg might mean she's been blacklisted.

If Fox can pull herself out of this extraordinary nosedive, more power to her; but I'm not sure it's humanly possible at this juncture. My prediction is there will be a clear spike in plastic surgery as her desperation mounts, and the only thing she'll be famous for is throwing rocks at the Hollywood gods. Frankly, I'd be surprised if she could get a gig peddling toothpaste in a television commercial.
