Thoughts by TSR: Don't get me wrong, I'm incredibly happy for the two of them, but I can't help but think of the industry side of things that this fluff piece seems to be ignoring. What does this mean for Portman's career? I mean, we're talking about an actress who has been in at least five movies in the past year.
Sure, a lot of those films were filmed before the pregnancy news, but there's no denying that she's been a pretty hot commodity in Hollywood, especially after Thor. But if you look at Portman before the Black Swan frenzy, even then it had been a while since she'd done a movie. I can't help but wonder if we'll be seeing a return to pre-Black Swan Natalie Portman or if Hollywood will force her to take the mommy path?
