- One of my favorite bands is Rilo Kiley. I can't wait for a new album. Unfortunately, Jenny Lewis (lead singer) can. But, she's giving us a present for being patience. Jenny Lewis and her boyfriend Jonathan Rice have made an album together. Thanks to NPR, you can listen to the whole thing. It comes out August 31.

- Speaking of TV (from the very top of the post) ... The series "Walking Dead" will premiere on AMC on October 31 (Halloween) at 10 p.m. ET and is produced and directed by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption). Here's the trailer:
- I introduced my nephew and niece (11 and 9) to Pee-wee Herman's Big Adventure when they visited. They weren't impressed. I still am. And he's on another big adventure. This time at the 70th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.
- And finally, I watch Glee. However, I only watch Jimmy Fallon on Hulu, in bed, when my wife is sick with a fever so she sleeps in the other room. That just happened this week. So now I finally have discovered this ...
