Jake Hamilton: Entertainment Reporter

Two-time Emmy nominee Jake Hamilton began his film critic career at the age of 14 when he was brought on to write film reviews for the Houston Chronicle. Pegged as a brutally honest and genuinely real critic for the people, Hamilton spent the next four years writing hundreds of reviews, features, and controversial Top Ten lists. He was even the subject for the highly publicized “Win a Date with Jake Hamilton” contest. Upon graduation from high school in 2006, Hamilton joined the PBS late night talk show “The After Party” with Ernie Manouse, translating his talent across mediums to the realm of TV. Now acting as a member of both the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Houston Film Critics Society, Hamilton is currently the film critic for KRIV FOX Television in Houston where he talks about the latest cinematic offerings, chats with Hollywood’s biggest stars, and continues to be a voice for all things movies.
