Jake's Take on his interview with Carey Mulligan from Never Let Me Go

Some movies' plot are so layered with shock and surprise that it would be a crime to discuss them openly with an audience who hasn't had the chance to see it yet. Journalists around the world struggled with reviewing Catfish just a few weeks ago and now those who aren't familiar with the novel that Time magazine called the best of the decade are going to have as much trouble avoiding spoilers as I did asking Carey Mulligan questions about Never Let Me Go.

Still, I do my best to read books before the movie if the source material is noteworthy -- I also read "The Accidental Billionaires" before interviewing the cast of The Social Network -- so we had that to anchor the conversation, but still, it's not the easiest film to discuss when the plot is the big white elephant in the room that we're suppose to avoid.
