There is only one place to interview the cast of The Hangover … Las Vegas.
Here’s some behind the scenes stuff that didn’t make it into the interview … Zach Galifianakis can play poker. There was a Texas Hold’em charity tournament the night before the interview at Caesar’s Palace. The entire cast, as well as director Todd Phillips played in the event. Here’s the order of who survived (and keep in mind, about 100 people played).
Justin Bartha … first out. He went big in one of the first hands and didn’t make it. Perhaps this was a chance to simply hang out, we’ll never know.
Todd Phillips … second out. From what the others said, Phillips plays. But it just wasn’t his night.
Ed Helms … third out. It was like watching Rounders and Helms played the role of Joey Knish. He kept surviving, but never made his mark.
Heather Graham … fourth out. She was wearing a pretty impressive Roman-style outfit, and that helped her stick around for quite a while, but eventually she was out.
Bradley Cooper … fifth out. I have no idea how he did, I just know he just around longer than almost anyone.
Zach Galifianakis … last actor standing, and second overall. I played well, but perhaps it was all because of his sidekick/partner. Galifianakis’ dad was side by side the comedian the whole night, and together they made a great run at the top prize.
Enough small talk … on to the interview …
