Episode 76: Movie B.S. with Bayer and Snider – ‘Contagion,’ ‘Warrior,’ ‘Attack the Block’ and ‘Higher Ground’
There are many movies to talk about this week on Movie B.S. with Bayer and Snider, so it’s a good thing it’s a movie show. Jeff Bayer and Eric D. Snider both endorse “Warrior,” a sports movie with heart (and some plot contrivances). They also approve of “Contagion,” a virus medical thriller about death and disease and stuff. Eric loved the raucous sci-fi comedy “Attack the Block”; Jeff liked it OK. They were further split on the spiritual drama “Higher Ground,” which Eric loved and Jeff found boring.
Your QOTW for the next show: What actor or actress who normally plays a certain type of character could break out and play against type? Give us specific ideas of what he or she could do to change things up.

About the show …
Movie B.S. with Bayer and Snider
Jeff Bayer and Eric D. Snider are movie critics, but not the stuffy,
elitist kind. They’re not the idiotic fanboy kind either. So what kind
of movie critics are they? The kind with an Internet radio show,
“Movie B.S.” features reviews of new films both good and bad,
smackdowns of the bad movies of yesteryear, and a plethora of other
movie-related features. All of it is tied together by cavalier banter
between Bayer and Snider, who noticed that there was a dearth of
cavalier banter on the Internet and sought to rectify that.
