I have never seen a Saw. I where this like a badge of honor, kind of. Sure, I've heard good things about the first film, and I like Carey Elwes. But the list ends there. Not one person has ever said, "You got to see ..." and ended that sentence with one of the Saw sequels. By the way, do you know when the first one came out? 2004. Doesn't that seem insane? I would have guess at least nine years ago, but when you are making money year after year, I guess there is no reason to stop.
So, what does a guy like me see when I take a look at the Saw 6 teaser?
Well, here's the plot ... Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw's grand scheme is finally understood.
Blood, bad lighting, and a merry-go-round that I can only imagine doesn't have a happy ending. And I can't believe I didn't guess the number six would come into play. So easy. I think the biggest surprise is that there is no scary, quick ending that happens in the last two seconds of the trailer. I'm sure this will be corrected once the full-length trailer comes out.
