Well, it was a weird weekend at the movies this time around.

Gnomeo and Juliet came out of nowhere to snag number one. Sure, it was showing signs of a comeback after last weekend, but number one when there are two new movies out? I didn't see that coming.

Hall Pass snagged number two. I guess Owen Wilson isn't much of the box-office draw he once was, but I was hoping that the stellar supporting cast would make up for it. According to Bayer, it didn't.

Unknown lived up to its title, after dropping from number one to number three in its second weekend. Liam Neeson's time on top may be coming to an end, but at least he's got that cameo in The Hangover 2 coming up.

Just Go With It continues its reign of mediocrity, not budging since last weekend, while I Am Number Four has fallen to fifth place already. It was a less than impressive battle for the top five this weekend, but even then I Am Number Four just made the cut. As for Drive Angry 3D ... apparently no one likes an angry driver.
