Tyler Perry unleashes another written/directed film onto the masses with Why Did I Get Married Too?, a sequel to Why Did I Get Married? that looks like it will indeed ask the same question. However, another question to be asked about this movie is, will more people see it than say, Clash of the Titans or Miley Cyrus' The Last Song?
Miley Cyrus has a young fanbase that is sure to to check out the teen-romance flick this weekend, though that probably won't be any match for Clash of the Titans, which appeals to Hollywood's biggest market - teenage boys.
It's worth noting that some people, (we call them "suckers" in Tinseltown), will pay to see Clash of the Titans in 3-D, which will boost the overall revenue that the mythological action remake gets.
We'll have to keep in mind that other 3-D movie, How To Train Your Dragon, which took the top spot last weekend. But will it hold up against newcoming Titans, Tyler Perry, or a non-wig-wearing Miley Cyrus? Sort of.
Kids have short attention spans, as we all know. Those that didn't see Dragon already are going to be checking out Titans, and in droves.
Also still in the top 5 race: Hot Tub Time Machine, Alice in Wonderland, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Each week we’ll take a look at the box office and see if we can’t nail the Top 5 films (in correct order).
