Hitting the screens this week… Green Zone
Our Family Wedding
Remember Me
She’s Out of My League
The Art of the Steal (limited Chicago)
This is a big box office weekend, boasting four wide releases, with at least most having big names stars. Green Zone features Matt Damon’s return to the action genre, which may be just the ticket to take it to number one.
In the more independent vein, Fox Searchlight’s Our Family Wedding is a diverse “fathers at odds with each other” comedy. While the premise isn’t exactly fresh, big name stars such as Forest Whitaker and America Ferrera may carry some clout with this film.
Robert Pattinson returns to the screen, this time without the fangs, in the simply titled, Remember Me. If R. Patz just isn’t enough, “Lost”s Emilie de ravin co-stars alongside Chris Cooper and Pierce Brosnan.
Finally, although She’s Out of My League carries no real big name stars, it’s full of familiar faces. Jay Baruchel, from TV’s “Undeclared” and Knocked Up, leads the cast in what looks like at least a mildly amusing time.
Opening in a limited release is The Art of the Steal which sounds interesting enough, but may not find its audience this weekend with all of the big name wide releases.

Those are the new releases for this week, but don’t expect that just because there are 4 new wide releases that some of the old favorites are simply going to disappear.
Each week we’ll take a look at the box office and see if we can’t nail the Top 5 films (in correct order).
It’s harder than you think. If you don’t believe, let’s see what your answers are.
My prediction for the weekend of March 12 – 14…
1. Alice in Wonderland
2. Remember Me
3. Green Zone
4. Shutter Island
5. She’s Out of My League
So what are your Top 5 at the box office this weekend?
