TSRn: Shia Labeouf Opens Up About Affair With Megan Fox

The Scorecard Review news

News: Shia LaBeouf has come clean with having a fling with Megan Fox while filming Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. After years of denying the affair, LaBeouf finally admitted that he and Fox had an affair in the newest issue of Details. When asked about whether Fox was with her current husband, Brian Austin Green, at the time, LaBeouf's reply was a vague and uncomfortable: "I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know...it was what it was."

Thoughts by TSR: I'd hate to be the one who always gives updates on Megan Fox's struggling career, but I'm too fascinated to help myself. Having a sibling in the industry, I know that USUALLY stars do not admit to super secret, scandalous affairs with costars unless A) It is decades after the fact or B) The one who isn't admitting to the affair no longer has the clout to keep things a secret.

Obviously, I can't speak for every person and every situation, but it's a pretty dependable rule of thumb. I think it's more evidence that Fox has gone into a spiral that she will not be able to pull herself out of. I don't wish ill upon her by any means; I'm not jumping for joy that she flippantly torched her career because she figured she was too powerful to dethrone. At this point, it's a trainwreck: I'm not excited by the explosions, but it's too mindboggling to look away. Again, more power to her if she can land a role bigger than a cameo in Sacha Baron Cohen's next project.
