Robert Rodriguez is aiming to pair up with Dimension Studios for a futuristic thriller called Nerverackers. Clearly this will rank right up there with difficult/odd-looking/misprounced titles. Yes Changeling, I'm thinking of you.

The director of such films as El Mariachi and Spy Kids is set to write and direct the project, which already has a release date - April 16, 2010. So it looks like he'll have to lock himself in his elaborate Austin studios right away.

The story is about a man named Joe Tezca, who works with an elite unit to stop a wave of crime taking place in a theoretically perfect society of the future.

Dark Knight writer-director Christopher Nolan is taking a vacation from Gotham City with a new project aiming to be released in summer 2010. His next film is called Inception. The project is an original screenplay by Nolan, which is described as "a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind." Sounds incredibly mysterious, but equally wonderful.

Nolan will produce with partner Emma Thomas, whom he worked with on Dark Knight.

Says Warner Brothers Pictures Group president Jeff Robinov: "Chris Nolan is a visionary filmmaker who continually raises the bar with each movie he makes. We are thrilled to be collaborating again with him and Emma on this exciting new motion picture."

Using a rough estimate, Nolan has brought the studio about $1.5 billion in theatre revenue. Two-thirds of that comes from The

Rumors were circulating that Steven Spielberg would announce a production start date for his Abraham Lincoln biopic on President's Day this year. It appears the rumors were not true. What we do know at this point is that Liam Neeson (who received an Oscar nomination in Spielberg's Schindler's List) is slated to play the 16th President and Sally Field may be cast as Mary Todd Lincoln. We also know that Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner (Oscar-nominated for writing Spielberg's Munich) has been working on a script that will supposedly focus on the last couple months of Lincoln's life.

Aside form not knowing when production will start, there is also a potentially major role that has yet to be discussed: the role of Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes Booth. I guess for now we're

Paramount has brought on screenwriter William Monahan (The Departed) to adapt John Grisham's best-selling legal novel The Associate for an upcoming Shia LaBeouf (Transformers) film. LaBeouf will star as a Yale Law School student whose past leaves him vulnerable to blackmail. He's soon forced to take a job at a law firm and work on a multi-billion dollar lawsuit. Lorenzo Di Bonaventura (Producer, Transformers) and LaBeouf warmed up to the project after reading an advanced copy of the book while they were on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

The studio wasted no time in getting this project rolling. They purchased the rights to the book late last year before its January 2009 publish date.

It's once again time for He Said/She Said. With he (Nick Allen) and she (Morrow McLaughlin) talking about Friday the 13th. He Said

Wow. This movie was a blast. As a fan of the entire franchise, I was thrilled to near death by this reboot, starting at the very beginning with the killing of Jason's mom, and continuing until the very end of the movie. In fact, the extensive opening that ends with the film's title card had the audience (and myself included) applauding and cheering. Much like the rest of the film, the sequence was tense, hilarious, and ultimately - horrifying.

The film has obvious "faults", (meaning cliches and people assisting in their own demise in some dumb way), but like last month's My Bloody Valentine 3-D, Friday embraces such elements for

Movie: This movie is delirious and giddy and I welcome any film that keeps the modern musical alive. The songs are fast and snappy, the dance sequences are wonderful, and the actors are all very talented people. High School Musical 3
