MY THOUGHTS: My bias as a comic book fan is beginning to show, but in all actuality, Harrelson as a deluded do-gooder seems like a comedy well worth watching. Still, it seems that it could go either way as an idiotic, but enjoyable superhero parody (think of Ben Stiller’s Mystery Men) with parts I was embarrassed to be laughing at or equal parts funny with a bit of social commentary in there. I mean, come on, Captain Industry? Either way, I’m eager to see the end result. It’s also nice to see Oh out of a pair of scrubs and in an actual film these days. Her ability to deadpan has always been one of the things that I’ve enjoyed about her, and it seems like this movie will be a good chance to show that she’s still got it. Finally, although I haven’t quite figured out what she adds to the movie, Dennings' appearance in the trailer was good to see. Normally the angst-ridden teen, it seems like she might have outgrown the role and moved on to something new. All in all, the trailer raises some high hopes that the movie itself may or may not deliver, but still promising.
