Hi.

This is Jeff Bayer, and I don't update this site very often. If you'd like to listen to my current movie podcast you can find it at MovieBS.com.

Where the Wild Things Are - international featurette video

Some things are just too good to watch. Take for example the new Where the Wild Things Are international featurette.

You can go ahead and watch, but isn't saving better? There is something absolutely magical about not know what is going to pop up next on the big screen. If you watch the previews, features and interviews you're going to be able to piece things together, and then the movie suddenly becomes a fill-in-the-blank.

Now, insert Where the Wild Things Are into this argument.

The adaptation from Spike Jonze and writer Dave Eggers of Maurice Sendak's classic children's story was originally all about the visuals. Does anyone remember the story? Max is just spoiled and doesn't learn any life lessons and still gets his dinner. The look of this film will be what takes people back to their childhood. Nothing else.

So, is this case strong enough for you not to watch the featurette?
