This week on Flicks on 6, we squeeze in some DVD talk. Much more important than that, I'm in Austin covering the film festival SXSW.
Here's the list of movies I saw:
Hood to Coast MacGruber Saturday Night The Happy Poet Kick-Ass Cyrus American: The Bill Hicks Story The People vs. George Lucas The Freebie The Myth of the American Sleepover Cold Weather Some Days Are Better Than Others Skeletons Electra Luxx Audrey the Trainwreck Beijing Taxi
We only focused on the Portland-related films (Some Days Are Better Than Others, Cold Weather, and Hood to Coast.
Then we talked about the ones that will be getting a big release nationwide ... Kick-Ass, Cyrus and MacGruber.
Two things we messed up on ... I didn't explain well enough that there is an 11-year-old girl in Kick-Ass who is the "incredibly violent" one. I wasn't furthering to the lead actor.
Also, we showed Cyrus video instead of MacGruber. Otherwise, the connection was great. I think I should suggest staying at home and just doing Skype all the time.
Also, new on DVD is Did You Hear About the Morgans? and my pick of the week - The Princess and the Frog. And that screaming you hear is the noise of teenage girls everywhere getting ready for the Friday midnight release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
