The allure of Russell Brand as a CG bunny evidently has worn off. As if the Easter Bunny didn't have it rough enough, he's got this gem to add to his resume. Still, the creators of Hop aren't hurting after a very respectable second weekend at number one.

Then again, neither is Russell Brand himself, with a second movie in the mix. the remake of Arthur may not have taken first, but it did alright for itself with its opening weekend.

Unfortunately, Hanna took a hit this weekend. It debuted at number three, but has the unique distinction of having the highest rating on the top five, from Allen. Then again, emotionally disturbed young women who just happen to be assassins was never bound to be much of a money-maker.

Still, I'm relieved Hanna found its way to number three, pushing Soul Surfer even further down the list. Fourth place isn't a great place to be opening weekend and with any luck, this movie will hopefully be out of our top five as well as our minds, within a few weeks.

Rounding out the list is Insidious. Allen may not have loved it, but its numbers in its second weekend aren't so terrible. especially given horrors tendency to have sharp drops in public interest, Insidious may have life in it left, but we won't be able to tell for sure till next weekend.
