Alice in Wonderland was this weekend’s clear winner. With a strong opening weekend, the Tim Burton flick has received mediocre reviews but that didn’t seem to stop audiences. Brooklyn’s Finest came in a modest second, despite mostly terrible reviews (besides ours). However, that kind of success seems fleeting. Scorsese is still drawing audiences in, although the psychological thriller dropped from it’s number 1 spot this week. Cop Out still made the cut this week, pull in at number 4. Finally, Avatar rounds out the list at number 5. It dropped a few spots mainly due to Alice in Wonderland taking over 3D screens.
