The day in which we all get to experience a new Coen Brothers movie is drawing near. Inside Llewyn Davis, starring Oscar Isaac (Drive), Carey Mulligan (Oz: The Great and Powerful), Justin Timberlake (The Social Network) and Garrett Hedlund (Country Strong) is no longer just an IMDb title on the Coen's pages. While we don't have a solid release date for the film, it does have a distributor in the United States — CBS Films. One could speculate that we won't see Inside Llewyn Davis at least toward the end of summer, with a possible debut at Cannes Film Festival 2013 previously rumored.
Below is a portion of the news release ...
LOS ANGELES – February 19, 2013 – CBS Films announced today it has acquired US rights to Inside Llewyn Davis. Robert Graf served as executive producer, T Bone Burnett served as executive music producer and Marcus Mumford as associate music producer.
Previous collaborations between the Coen Brothers and Rudin include the Academy Award©-winning Best Picture of 2007 No Country For Old Men and the multiple-Academy Award-nominated True Grit.
