Jake's Take on his interview with Angelina Jolie:
The perception for how an interview is going to go is often times far different than how it actually ends up going -- for instance, most comedians are often fairly lame interviews and one of the funniest interviews I ever had with Amy Adams was for her role in "Doubt." When it came to Angelina Jolie, the idea of sitting across from her just seemed intimidating and daunting -- I wanted to come across as intelligent and different, showing her the respect that she deserved while also getting a bit of personal info that we all crave.
Also, she's gorgeous.
Luckily, the perception of this intense and intimidating woman completely disintegrated within my first fifteen seconds of speaking with her. She was warm, kind and open to anything I threw at her. For a woman who receives as much attention (both good and bad) as she does, that's really saying a lot. For more Jake Hamilton: Jake's Takes
