Jake’s Takes: 'Salt' interview with Angelina Jolie

Salt Directed by: Phillip Noyce Cast: Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor Running Time: 1 hr 39 mins Rating: PG-13 Release Date: July 23, 2010

PLOT: As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt (Jolie) swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy.

Jake's Take on his interview with Angelina Jolie:

The perception for how an interview is going to go is often times far different than how it actually ends up going -- for instance, most comedians are often fairly lame interviews and one of the funniest interviews I ever had with Amy Adams was for her role in "Doubt." Also, she's gorgeous.

Luckily, the perception of this intense and intimidating woman completely disintegrated within my first fifteen seconds of speaking with her. She was warm, kind and open to anything I threw at her. For a woman who receives as much attention (both good and bad) as she does, that's really saying a lot. For more Jake Hamilton: Jake's Takes
