Two-time Emmy nominee Jake Hamilton began his film critic career at the age of 14 when he was brought on to write film reviews for the Houston Chronicle. Pegged as a brutally honest and genuinely real critic for the people, Hamilton spent the next four years writing hundreds of reviews, features, and controversial Top Ten lists. He was even the subject for the highly publicized “Win a Date with Jake Hamilton” contest. Upon graduation from high school in 2006, Hamilton joined the PBS late night talk show “The After Party” with Ernie Manouse, translating his talent across mediums to the realm of TV.
