'Young Adult' starring Charlize Theron - trailer review

Young Adult Directed by: Jason Reitman Starring: Charlize Theron, Patrick Wilson, Patton Oswalt Rating: R Release Date: December 16, 2011

TRAILER SCORE: 9/10

Thoughts by TSR: By itself, the trailer looks to be plenty o' fun, but when you add to it the writer and director of Juno...we can't go wrong here. Charlize Theron as the cool kid in high school who never grew up? Excellent. We're always so busy following the former alternative nerds to see if they'll find true love and overcome their insecurities--what about the nasty popular people who kicked you when you were down and looked like models? They have feelings too, you know.

Best line in the trailer? When Patrick Wilson is fending off Theron's advances with a very justified, "I'm married," she responds, "We'll get through this together." Like his marriage is similar to cancer and she's ready to help him get the treatment he needs to survive it.

This is going to be fun.
