'The Future' starring Miranda July - trailer review

The Future Directed by: Miranda July Starring: Miranda July, Hamish Linklater Rating: not yet rated Release Date: July 29, 2011 (limited)

Thoughts by TSR: Getting my head around a Miranda July movie isn't easy. I really liked Me, You and Everyone We Know but I'd be hard pressed to give a summary of the film or explain exactly what I liked about it. The Future gives off the same vibe. I could say that the trailer is narrated by a cat and tells the story of a couple who become obsessed with their future and aging, but that sort of sounds quirky and even maybe boring. The trailer felt vibrant and full of life. I'm not sure of the exact plot line but it looks like the journey is going to be awesome. This film is probably the one I'm most excited about as far as the rest of the summer is concerned. I can't believe it's be six years since MYAEWK.
