'Everything Must Go' starring Will Ferrell - trailer review

Everything Must Go Directed by: Dan Rush Starring: Will Ferrell, Rebecca Hall, Glenn Howerton Rating: R Release Date: May 13, 2011 (limited)

TRAILER SCORE: 8/10

Thoughts by TSR: Ferrell goes somewhat dramatic as a guy who loses his job, wife, and access to his house in one very bad day. Luckily he takes it like a man by living on his front lawn, day drinking and exploiting child labor. Ferrell's done drama before with mixed results, but this one looks promising. Partially cause he has a good supporting cast with Howerton (of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia fame) and the awesome Stephen Root. He seems to have good chemistry with the kid in the trailer. The reason I'm most excited is because he's playing an angry, dickish character and that's what Ferrell does best. But since it's a movie anchored in the real world unlike say, Anchorman or Old School (which existed in the happy land of over-the-top comedies) there should be more drama. It's also a fantasy of mine to sell everything I own so the premise is very appealing.

I know it's hard to find time for movies without explosions in the summer, but I'd like to fit this one in.
