MY THOUGHTS: Maybe it's just me but starting out a trailer with a joke about electric cars being gay kind of screams that you don't have any better material to me. I mean, forget the potentially offensive implications there. I mean, it is a Vince Vaughn movie after all, but the joke just isn't even funny by itself. From there, although it seems hard to imagine, it actually gets worse. Diarrhea jokes have never really done much for me, but when you throw a grown ass man into the equation, making poop jokes is pretty desperate. What's most surprising to me is that Ron Howard attached his name to direct this. I'm not saying he's the know all, end all director but before I at least thought he knew better than this. As for the movie's central conflict, I'm not really sure how long they can keep the joke running. Maybe it's just me, but the premise doesn't sound too funny and if this trailer is any evidence of the execution, The Dilemma may be in serious trouble.
