OVERALL
This one is pretty tough, because it's Toy Story--it was phenomenal when it was released and it's phenomenal now. The whole point of re-releasing it is the 3D and the 3D definitely takes a back seat to the incredible story, animation, and writing. If the movie isn't originally designed for 3D, I assume it's pretty tricky to pull off a 3D movie with the caliber of, say, Coraline. In Toy Story, it gives the movie some depth and that's all.
But let's not kid ourselves--you're still going to go see it. Children will love the 3D even if it's not that great, because it's an updated version of a beloved movie. And while I suspect that Disney slapped something together to trick us out of more money, it's still a classic.
