Iron man 2 had a solid lead to victory in its opening weekend. Besides, being the only wide release this weekend, the follow-up to the 2008 outing has audiences wanting more. Even if Jeff and Nick only thought it was alright, I’m expecting this one to stay on top for at least a little while longer.

I’m sure Morrow and, well, most of the TSR staff will be disappointed to see that Freddy’s still holding on. Nick, it seems you got your wish and the horror icon lives on. There’s no telling how long he’ll stick around, but for now, Nightmare isn’t going anywhere.

How to Train Your Dragon is quickly proving itself to be the little engine that could of the film world. Although it dropped from the number two spot to its current place in third, considering it’s seven weeks running, it’s definitely not doing too shabby for itself.

Date Night was finally deprived of its number three spot that it’s been holding on to for so long. The action comedy is making its way down the list, but it’s had a pretty good run.

Finally, and not surprisingly, The Back-Up Plan comes in dead last. With Robin Hood and Letters to Juliet coming out next week, it’s safe to say this one’s a goner. It’s too bad audiences didn’t love J. Lo as much as she loves herself. It had an uneventful run, but I’m betting it’s time to say so long.
