Hitting the screens this weekend ...

Rango The Adjustment Bureau Beastly Take Me Home Tonight

TSR's complete Film Review Database

With a whole host of brand new movies hitting screens this weekend, it could easily be anyone's weekend.

My best guess is Rango will be taking home the gold with its all-star cast and a good deal of screens on its side.

Still, Matt Damon and Emily Blunt could prove to be quite the draw. Sci-fi is always a game changer with plenty of people weary of the genre, but with the action sold up front, I don't expect it to hurt this film's chances at second place very much.

Take Me Home Tonight is going to have a tough act to follow after Hall Pass narrowly took number one last weekend, but it may end up landing itself in third, given its cast.

Beastly, unfortunately, looks to be just that. I'm not expecting great things, but this may get the teen vote, which is still a solid cash base. Still, even theaters seem weary so I see it landing in the top five, but not too high up.

Hall Pass took number one last weekend, but just barely. With a whole bunch of new movies coming out, aimed at all different audiences, I don't see it lasting in the top five much longer, but it may round out the list this weekend. Each week we’ll take a look at the box office and see if we can’t nail the Top 5 films (in correct order). Also guess how many millions the #1 movie will make.

It’s harder than you think. If you don’t believe, let’s see what your answers are.

My prediction for the weekend of March 4 - 6 …

1. Rango ($25 million)

2. The Adjustment Bureau

3. Take Me Home Tonight

4. Beastly

5. Hall Pass

So what are your Top 5 at the box office this weekend?
