Box Office Challenge: 'The Rite' 'No Strings Attached' and 'The Mechanic'

This week continues the tradition of January dump month with The Rite and the Mechanic. While neither one seems worth the money or the trip to the theater for me, I'm counting on horror fans turning out to make The Rite number one at the box office.
No Strings Attached is looking at a small slip into number two. Evidently no one heeds my warnings because it took number one last weekend and it shows no signs of stopping.
The Mechanic will more than likely continue Staham's mediocre action career. I mean, with no serious acting talent to speak of, can you really ask for anything more?
The Green Hornet can't rely on its 3D earnings much longer, which suggests a slip down to number four, with no rave reviews to help its case.
Finally, The King's Speech may be high off of the Awards nominations, but it may not do wonders for its box office numbers. Considering how long it's been out, it's impressive that it's tackled the top five this long, and I'm giving it at least one more week on the top five.
Each week we’ll take a look at the box office and see if we can’t nail the Top 5 films (in correct order). Also guess how many millions the #1 movie will make.
It’s harder than you think. If you don’t believe, let’s see what your answers are.
My prediction for the weekend of Jan. 28 - 30 …
1. The Rite ($19 million)
2. No Strings Attached
3. The Mechanic
4. Green Hornet
5. The King's Speech
So what are your Top 5 at the box office this weekend?
