It was a good weekend at the movies. The Green Hornet provided some popcorn flick fun for fans of the action comedy genre and with Rogen's comedic chops, it's no surprise.

In more distressing news, people are still perpetuating the stereotype that Vince Vaughan and Kevin james make funny movies. Controversy aside and ignoring the whole "let's make infidelity funny" angle, the most offensive thing about this type of movie is Vince Vaughan still getting roles in movies.

True Grit fell this weekend, but after several weekends in the top two, I think it can afford a weekend at number three.

Golden Globes buzz brought The King's Speech in to the top five which, seriously, who saw that coming? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's getting the attention it deserves, but pulling a Black Swan and jumping from ninth place into the top five is always a little surprising.

Speaking of Black Swan, it rounds out our top five this weekend, remaining in the same place as it did last weekend. With the Golden Globes tonight, it could go one way or the other for Black Swan. If it grabs some of the more notable rewards, that could do wonders for its box office numbers this weekend or it could fade away until Oscars season. Stay tuned next weekend to find out.
