So close, but oh so far. I don't think any of us here at The Scorecard Review could have predicted a weekend like this. Well, for the most part at least.

Jackass 3D took the cake with a whopping $50 million in its opening weekend. It seems like none of us saw that coming with our predictions. Then again, Allen said it best when he said "If Resident Evil can do it, so can Jackass!" Too bad none of us saw just how much people are willing to pay to watch others get hammered in the crotch.

RED pulled in second place with more conservative figures. It seems that the appeal of aging Oscar winners with automatic weaponry just doesn't have the same appeal as it used to... or did it ever? Either way, it's a distant second for Willis and company, but they could have done worse.

The Social Network is beginning to fall in its third week, but it's put up one helluva fight. Even in third place this weekend, the Fincher drama has a lot going for it with all of the Oscar buzz its generating.

Secretariat leapt into fourth place, a surprise move no one here (except Bayer, of course) saw coming. Still, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of hope left for this one as it continues to underperform.

Finally, Life As We Know It is no box of chocolates for Heigl and Duhamel. It continues to slip and I'm not expecting an appearance from it on next week's top five. After all, it'll be time to make room for Paranormal Activity 2.
