Tim Burton’s domination over the box office continues for the second week in a row despite four wide releases over the weekend.

Following in a distant second is the Matt Damon thriller The Green Zone, though no help from reviewers who aren’t exactly loving the thriller. Just proof that Matt Damon’s still got that box office appeal.

The Jay Baruchel comedy She’s Out of My League with no big name stars to speak of, pulled in a solid third place.

Twi-Hards showed very little love for the R. Patz romantic drama Remember Me. It’s hard to believe after such a weak opening that it's going to stay in the top 5 for too long, but who knows?

Finally, Shutter Island is going to put up quite a fight before it gets booted off of the top 5. In its fourth week, it pulled in only a little less than the Robert Pattinson newcomer.

All in all, a bunch of new releases held their own in the top 5, but none could muster up the strength to pull in to number 1. That honor still belongs to Alice in Wonderland. But while Tim Burton’s patent mix of gloom and surrealism be enough to sustain it for a 3rd week in a row?
