What can I say? When I’m wrong, boy am I wrong. Shutter Island led the pack as predicted with an impressive $40 million. However, evidently Cupid’s love spell hasn’t worn off on audiences because Valentine’s Day remains at number 2. Although a distant 2, it was a surprise to me at least. Avatar got a second wind to bring it back to up the number 3 spot. Percy Jackson just doesn’t seem to have enough strength to play with the big boys as it slips from number 2 to number 4. Finally, The Wolfman seem to scare up much of an audience at all with its haul of almost $10 million. It looks like Cop Out has its work cut out for it next weekend.
