There's no signs of it not being cloudy at the box office, as Meatballs continues to mop up the competition. Fame will not live forever on the big screen, though there's always a chance the movie, which became a TV show, which became a movie ... could become a TV show. Bruce Willis didn't have the marketing push or summer blockbuster status with Surrogates but it still managed $15 million.
Next week it will be Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story, Drew Barrymore's Whip It and the horror comedy Zombieland fighting it out.
