TSRn: Robert Downey Jr. talks 'Iron Man 3' and director Shane Black

News: After The Avengers, the story of Tony Stark will continue with Iron Man 3 and Shane Black writing/directing. Source: L.A. Times
Thoughts by TSR: If you don't know who Black is, he's the guy who wrote Lethal Weapon along with some others like Last Action Hero. Most importantly for me, he's the guy who directed Downey Jr. in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. If you haven't seen that film, do it now. I don't feel like Jon Favreau needs to go from the Iron Man franchise. Iron Man 2 was just a little worse than the original. Downey Jr. seems excited to have Black directing and writing and had this to say to the L.A. Times ...
“He’s more than the sum of his parts and he’s also kind of been a sleeper for a long time,” Downey said. “We’re not talking much about [the script] right now because Shane is off writing and we talked before that and when we are talking again the talking is going to be over pretty quick [because we're on the same page]. It’s kind of like we’re fighting on the same side and at the same time we’re circling each other, so it’s all great. It should be great.”
What does that mean? Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see until May 2013 when Iron Man 3 hits screens.
