TSRn: 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' and 'The Hobbit: There and Back Again'

The Scorecard Review news

News: New Line Cinema and Peter Jackson announce the official titles for the two-part telling of The Hobbit. Part 1 is called The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and is due out Dec. 14, 2012. Part 2 is called The Hobbit: There and Back Again and is due out Dec. 13, 2013. Source: Variety

Thoughts by TSR: I guess it would have been too simple to just call these movies The Hobbit Part I & II. "There and Back Again" is such a lovely phrase I've already decided the second one will be much, much better. Both films will be in 3D, which will hopefully be the kind of 3D that doesn't suck (Yes, Pirates 4, I'm talking about you). The cast is as follows ... Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins plus Hugo Weaving, Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Andy Serkis, and Elijah Wood.

The story is set 60 years before Lord of the Rings.
