Actress Brittany Murphy died yesterday at the age of 32. She collapsed Sunday morning at her Hollywood Hills home. The coroner says they will conduct an autopsy Monday to try to determine what killed the actress. There are still upcoming films coming out from Murphy. Abandoned ... Murphy stars in this psychological thriller where she plays someone with a history of psychiatric issues who accompanies her boyfriend (Dean Cain) to the hospital for surgery, only to have him disappear without a trace. It was expected to be straight to DVD, now the producers are rethinking.
Something Wicked ... Murphy stars as a psychiatrist in a thriller about two recent high school grads whose plans for a happy life together are shattered by parents who don't want them to be together. The film is still being edited.
Across the Hall is a thriller about a standoff between a young man, his fiance and his best friend who comes to his aide. It was a very small release, and will be available on DVD January 19, 2010.
